Sim Activation

I bought a new Docomo Sim with phone no 8089535957. When switched on the phone an error messeage was displayed saying sim registration failed. Retailer told me sim will be activated in 30mins. Its now almost 4hours still saying no service. pls help me

Tata DOCOMO, the GSM services of Tata Teleservices, Recently announced the
commercial launch of its operations in India, beginning with Chennai and
Tamil Nadu. There initial tariff had fired a new era of competition in Gsm operators as
Tata is offering 1 paisa per sec call rates to anywahere in india [Local + Std ].
TATA DOCOMO’s pan-India service rollout will be completed this year, with south Indian circles going ‘live’ in a fortnight.
